Dutch based DRU is active in gas as well as wood appliances and has a wide European network with own sales and service operations in many European countries. DRU is one of the oldest industrial companies in Europe founded in 1754.
Glen Dimplex Benelux is part of the Glen Dimplex Group that was founded in 1973. Glen Dimplex is the world leader in electric heating. Besides electric appliances the group produces gas- and wood burning appliances.
HKI is the German industrial trade organisation for manufacturers of domestic heating and cooking appliances. The organisation was founded in 1949. At the moment HKI has approximately 200 members.
Italian based MCZ is a large manufacturer of pellet and wood appliances with distribution of its products all over Europe. The company was established in 1975.
Swedish based NIBE-Stoves unites many stove manufacturers under its umbrella. They manufacture wood, gas and electric appliances in several European countries.
Norsk Varme is the Norwegian trade organisation for wood burning and other biofuels. The organisation has as members manufacturers, retailers and other businesses that are related to wood and biomass.
Italian based and family run Palazzetti is one of the largest companies in the field of pellet stoves and wood burning appliances in Europe. The company was founded in 1954.
The UK based Stove Industry Alliance is an association of stove manufacturers and distributors, wood fuel suppliers, flue and glass manufacturers and industry supporters like HETAS and Kiwa. SIA has 40 members.
NHK is the Dutch based industrial trade organisation for manufacturers, importers and installers of local space heaters on gas, wood, pellet or electric as well as flue systems and fire wood suppliers. The organisation currently has 30 industry members and over 100 installation companies.
The story of Agoria began in 1946, with the establishment of Fabrimetal, the Federation of Enterprises in the Metal Industry is established. This organisation was in turn based on the principles of the Federation of Manufacturers, established in 1906. The name change from Fabrimetal to Agoria was announced on 9 November 2000. The previous name referred mainly to the metal manufacturing industry but in practice, the vision of the organisation had evolved and Agoria was supporting companies from other sectors, such as ICT. Agoria has more than 2000 technology companies from the manufacturing industry and the digital and telecom sectors among its members, 70% of which are SMEs. This makes Agoria the largest federation within the Federation of Belgian Enterprises. Agoria has around 200 employees, based at offices in Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Liège and Charleroi.
SER is the Syndicat des Energié Renouvelables. The French organisation for reneweble energy. The organization is based in Paris. It comprises not only biomass but all sorts of reneweble energy. SER was founded in 1993 and has over 300 members.
Jøtul is one of the oldest wood stove manufacturers of Europe. The company was founded in 1853 in Norway, close to the city of Oslo. Jøtul is renowned for its cast iron quality stoves. Beides wood stoves also gas appliances are part of the programm.
DAPO (Foreningen af Danske Leverandører af Pejse og Brændeovne) is the Danish national organisation for wood stoves and -fireplaces. With 17 members they represent the entire Danish market. The Danish regulations for wood stoves are amongst the most stringent in the world that is why Danish stoves represent the latest technology boosting very low emission values.
The Swedish Fireplace Association is an industry organization consisting of companies that develop, manufacture and sell stoves, chimneys and stoves accessories for secondary heating purposes. The organisation also has distributors of stoves as associated members. The association started in 1980 in the aftermath of the energy crisis at the end of the 1970’s.
