Since Europe is defining the energy policies throughout the EU it is very important to stay very close to what is happening in Brussels and to be involved in the discussions that are ongoing. It is important that the products of the CEFACD members are part of the energy transition that is taking place now.

Much of the policies from Brussels have to be translated by each EU member country in local plans. The plans of the individual countries can be shared within CEFACD so all members are aware and prepared in what is happening throughout the EU.

Furthermore there are many smaller programmes running in the EU that we should be aware of since they are of influence to our business. An example is the new WEEE regulation on the disposal of waste in the EU.
